Our Church

May I bring greetings to all on behalf of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church of India, Dallas. It is extremely gratifying and joyful to note that St. Mary’s Orthodox Church of India, Dallas had a great start and an intense momentum in its establishment and commendable growth during the last four years. The dedication its members put forth is phenomenal. Despite troubles and difficulties arising from the lack of a church building of their own in which to worship, they have shown willingness and enthusiasm to face these challenges without hesitation or frustration. Numerous individuals pointed out this parish and its worship services are especially unique and conducive to a peaceful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Above all, the peace and serenity these members are experiencing is truly tremendous and is nothing short of a gift from God.

St. Mary’s Orthodox Church of India, Dallas received approval as a parish from the Diocesan Metropolitan from its beginning and Rev. Fr. John Kunnathusseril was appointed as its vicar. We thank God for all the blessings which have been showered upon us. The dedicated Managing Committee which has been elected, the prayerful Martha Mariam Samajam, the vibrant Youth League, the ever-strong MGOCSM unit, the soundly functioning Sunday School, and spirit filled prayer meetings are among the enormous assets of this parish.

It is worthwhile to notice the parish has accumulated much strength in physical and fiscal areas. The substantial growth in membership during its over-two-year tenure stands out as a symbol of significant progress. In addition, the parish’s fiscal strength permitted the parish to purchase an exceptional tract of land and to lay the foundation in which to arrive at the culminating stages of building a new and beautiful church for the parish.

Our parish’s spiritual organizations remain incredibly active in spreading God’s message through service by extending our hands to those in need in and around the community. Together, we are marching forward to an endless array of opportunity, success, and growth. A word of special congratulations is extended to Mr. Manish Thampan and Mr. Sumod Abraham for their dedication, commitment, and tireless efforts in maintaining our parish’s website.
