Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam (St. Mary's Women's Association) is the women's organization of the Malankara Orthodox Church of India established in 1928. The Samajam has its humble origins as prayer groups in the various parishes scattered all over the Malankara Church in India several years ago. Our motto is Pray, Act, & Illumine. Various activities of Marthamariam samajam include o Weekly meeting and bible study. o Pray for sick and weiry. o Visiting the sick and those who are confined to hospitals. o Fundraising for charity. o Attending regional prayer meetings and bible study. All women are welcome to participate in the life of the Samajam. Addl.
